Chapter 1 General Information

Extending the HP NetServer LC 2000r

CAUTION To prevent damage to the covers, support the cover as you remove it from the HP

NetServer. The NetServer’s covers are heavy.

12. To remove the top cover, use the key provided to unlock the Mass Storage Cage and release

the top cover.

13. Loosen the thumbscrew on the front of the chassis for the top cover and then pull the cover

forward to disengage.

14. Lift the top cover up and away from the chassis.

15. If necessary, remove the bottom cover by loosening the thumbscrew at the front of the HP

NetServer with one hand..
