Managing EZ Templates

Updating Templates with vzup2date

The vzup2date utility allows you to update any of the EZ templates installed on the Node. This

utility can also be used to download new EZ templates to the Node and install them there.

vzup2date can be launched in two modes:

• graphical mode

• command line mode

Updating EZ templates in the graphical mode takes place if you have executed the vzup2date

utility with the -z option. After launching the utility, you will be presented with a greeting screen:

In this window, do one of the following:

• Click the Next button to connect to the repository storing the latest EZ templates (either the

Parallels default repository or your own one).

• Click the Configure button to configure the parameters used to connect to the EZ templates

repository.
