Preparing a Private-key
To generate a SOAP digital signature, a private key and a site certificate corresponding to the private
key are needed. For information about how to configure the private key and site certificate, refer to
Chapter 14, How to Prepare PKI Environment for Web Services (SOAP).
Note
When acquiring a certificate from the certification authority, a certificate for the digital signature, as for
the usage of the key, needs to be acquired.
Settings for the Generation of the SOAP Digital Signature
The Web Service Information Edit Tool is used to set the SOAP digital signature generation.The
following figure shows the window that displays detailed information. The following explanation uses the
RPC application window as an example.
