• Web service identifier
Enter the identifier of the Web service.
For information on how to specify the Web service identifier, refer to Chapter 9 - Managing Web
Service Information in the SOAP Service User's Guide.
• Processed header element: Do not delete
Specify whether to delete the SOAP header element of an incoming response message after its
processing has completed.
The default is “Do not delete.”
• Web service role (actor) name
Specify a Web service role (actor) name in URI format.
Two or more role (actor) names can be entered comma-separated.
A Web service role (actor) name identifies a Web service role in the path of a transfer defined by
SOAP. Only those SOAP header elements having their destination (actor) name matching this
value are processed.
There is no need to specify a role (actor) name in most situations.
• Request transmission setting: User authentication
Request reception setting: User authentication
Specify whether to enable user authentication and authorization on the basis of the user name and
password appended to each SOAP message. Select “valid” to enable user authentication and
authorization.
• Request reception setting: Authorized role name
List the names of the roles that are authorized to execute the Web service if user authentication o
of the user name and password appended to the header of a SOAP message succeeds. Multiple
role names can be entered comma-separated.
The default is “*”, authorizing all roles to execute the Web service.
Notes
• If the user authentication function is enabled with the Web Service Configuration Edit Tool, user
authentication executes automatically on the basis of the user name and password appended to
the header of a SOAP message.
• If the user authentication function is enabled with the Web Service Configuration Edit Tool when the
single sign-on function has not been set, user authentication and authorization would be disabled,
with incoming SOAP messages being rejected.
